I tried a set of the Summit headers last year. They aren't worth it. I
took them off and they are on a shelf in my garage. Couldn't get them to
quite leaking. I even tried the Mr. Gasket header gasket along with hi-temp
RTV. They still leaked.
I bough a set of Thorley headers. No problems. Mileage increase, don't
know. Can't keep my foot out of it. They were $434.00.
Like someone else said, the hardest part is getting the old y-pipe off. I
ended up cutting mine off leaving just enough of the exhaust pipe to get the
adapter (3" to 2 1/2") in and then had it welded.
Good luck,
Gregg

Subject: DML:95 V-8 headers
Hey everyone My name is Sam, I'm new to the list and I own a 1995 Dakota
5.2L 5-speed and I was wondering if anyone has bought and installed the
Summit truck headers or any kind of headers for this year. Any help on
performance gains and prices would be greatly appreciated.
