You dont wire it into the distributor. The MSD directions have a page that
shows how to wire it into late model Dodge Magnum engines. Two wires go to
your stock coil. A green/orange, and a grey and black. Disconnect them from
the stock coil, cut the harness about 10 inches from the connector, and
splice them (the harness, not the connector end) into the MSD wires. The
Green/Orange goes to the small red wire of the MSD. The Grey/Black goes to
the small white wire to the MSD. I use male and female quick disconnects
and
splice them so the wires cant accidently be attached backwards. Now you
should have an orange wire and a black wire coming out of the MSD. Take the
short part you cut off the factory coil wire harness (with the coil
connector
still on it) and splice the orange wire to the green/orange and the black
wire to the grey/black. The big red wire I mount straight to the starter
and
the big black wire I mount straight to the cylinder head for the ground. If
you have any questions, or want me to scan an MSD schematic of the Dodge
install let me know!
