Mike,
Get someone to hold a rag or something similar over the exhaust tip. Then
search out your leak. If you determine it is under the hood and you cannot
pinpoint it, use a section of heater hose (or similar tubing) like a
stethoscope to nail it down. I can't remember what, but there are certain
combustibles that you could also spray into the intake sorta like carb
cleaner that emits a white gas as a by product of the combustion, but I
can't remember any of them right off the top of my head. It's been too long
ago. If I remember, I'll repost. Maybe someone else remembers some of
them.
