Yep, both the V-10 Magnum (truck engine) and the V-10 Viper engine have
been installed in Daks. I got an e-mail from a guy a while back who
installed the V-10 Magnum in his (92?) Dakota; lots of custom cutting
and fabrication involved.
Although I haven't had any personal exposure to anyone with a Viper motor
in a Dak, according to Eric Kurtz, a few of the CC (now DC) execs have 'em.
(That's quite the perk; "forget the dental plan, where's my Viper motor???")

Hmmmm... I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the V-10 Magnum and
V-10 Viper motors are very, very different.
