I feel that in areas that have "true" winters lowering doesn't make sense.
Don't get me wrong I like the look of a properly lowered truck I think it
is climate controlled. I have always preferred a 2wd due to the handling
aspects but the clearance is still a problem in fresh snow sometimes. My
88 has almost 7 inches at the lowest point. This is about right for laying
fresh tracks on unpaved roads and parking lots. If it was lowered it would
act more like a plow then a truck.
