My wife and I were returning from a festive afternoon with some friends this
weekend when we slowed for a light. There was a lowered Pathfinder with low
profiles sticking out of the wheel wells sitting at the light. He had a
chrome light bar and lights about two feet above his roof line and a chrome
brush guard. My wife (who was driving as it was my turn to celebrate)
looked at me and said, "What the hell is that thing?" I told her the guy is
having an identity crisis. We looked at the guy and laughed. He responded
by turning up his bumpity-bump radio. I told my wife to turn off the OD and
drop the hammer at the green. She mashed the pedal to the floor and got an
impressive howl from the Mud Terrians that drowned out the bumble bee next
to us. Pathfinder was way behind us before she had to let off for another
red. We go it again. Even better results, the wife keeps the tires from
spinning. The guy pulls up after few seconds and rolls down his window,
"Redneck b#tch!" and makes a right on red. WTF?! We laughed and my wife is
on the look out for the truck. She says she may give him another go in her
Civic. I hope she takes the lil punk. Anyway, had to pass it on.
