trick tranny installed.

Hey All,
I told ya that I'd post when I got the transmission installed.
It seems that a lot was ruined. First clutches were smoked, of course.
My overdrive piston was cracked. My valve body tested bad at Chrysler.
That tranny sucked!!
My 5 clutches were replaced with 6. My overdrive piston was welded and
turned. It would have taken 3 weeks to get one ordered. My valve body
had a V6 valve body plate that Dodge put in there. Dodge sucks!!! It
was replaced with a new valve body with a V8 plate. It was bored and
stuff.
I've only put 170 miles on it so far. But, I like it. It bangs from 1
- 2 and 2 - 3 but not really hard into OD. When I give it gas to shift
from 3 - 2 it hits really hard. It rules! I only hit 4G to test it so
far, but I haven't passed 3G since. I'm breakin it in a little easy.
It shifted hard this morning. Just easing from 1 - 2 will kick the
relaxed neck back. I can feel it downshift now, like when braking for a
stoplight. I feel it hit 2 or 1.
I also put in 24# injectors in there. It feels like it pulls easier,
but then again I didn't drive my truck for 3 weeks, almost like a new
truck. I found it easy to pass without it shifting from OD - 3. I
installed a slew of gauges from AutoMeter. I have a trans temp, fuel
pressure, and boost. I don't have an adapter to hook up the fuel
pressure yet, but I will.
I can't wait to bury my foot in the carpeting.

Sorry for the delay in this. It's hard to find the time to work on it.
I live in the big city. I have to drive 2 1/2 hours to my parents for a
garage and tools.
Take care guys,
Doug
