Greg,
No, you dont have to bleed the pressure, just take the gas cap off, unscrew
one of the hose clamps, and let the excess gas in the line drain out. Like I
said, it is not alot, maybe a couple of ounces. I change mine once a year,
and I cut the old one open every time and I am amazed how dirty the filter
actually gets. Cut it open for yourself and see, I use a hacksaw and put the
fuel filter in a vise the saw it open. I am using MSD 8.5MM Super Conductor
Wires meant for a 94-97 Ram(318), these fit great and they are built good
too. I always, always, use dielectric tune up grease. I am sure to put it on
my coil's terminal(Accel Super Coil), and I did it even on my stock coil. I
also use it on the tip of the spark plug and on the distributor cap
terminals. There is really no other place it is needed. If you want you
could put some on both ends of the plug wires instead of on the dist. cap
terminals/spark plugs, but I find it easier to put them on the spark plugs/
cap terminals. Good Luck.
