The reason duals are not recommended for towing is that if you're towing a
mobile home with people in it, they could breathe in the exhaust fumes. Also,
whatever you're towing will get exhaust film all over it. That's why they
recommend a side-exit single system for towing. You could put duals on & have
a muffler shop fab up side-exits behind the rear wheels on each side, would
accomplish the same thing. BTW, the larger the pipe, the more LOW END you
lose, not the other way around!
