I bought 3 alpine decks for my "family" in louisianna. the double din alpine
(1399 retail) has been in my uncle's 93 legend since last year and to date no
problems.
1 and another uncle (whom owns a 95 legend coupe) got the 3 disk in dash
changer (can be seen on bernd's site) and also. nothing has gone wrong with
them. I find they're very reliable decks. Not that my kenwood wasn't
reliable or anything, but there was a HUGE difference between the tweeter and
sub output as soon as I switched to the Alpine.

<< ive never personally owned an alpine but my friend that owns his own
stereo
shop just recently stopped selling alpine. he was having alot of problems
with the output transistors frying under minimal load an alpine wasnt
backing there warrantee. just some info for anyone lookin to buy!!!!!
