We do seem to get posts of different figures for the stock and MP computers.
I expected that that there would be a range which would vary from truck
to truck but it surprises me that the range seems to be so large.
I do know that, at 4 a.m. on a Sun. morning when returning from Carlisle
last year, a F150 and a Prowler wanted to play around on a 6-lane, divided
hiway. I had the stock '97 computer in (for the gauges) and took it
to 200 km/hr (around 120 or so mph). After a good sleep, I realized
that it should not have gone that high on the OE computer according to what
DMLers had written.
With the '96 MP PCM, if it has a speed limiter, I don't think I'll ever get
to it either on the track or on the hiways.
