Jon, with 600 to 800 hp you better have the money to be replacing more than
just transmissions. :~)
We all know the older O/D is "junk" cause it is usually what fails. I don't
know if there is anyway of "building it up" but a reputable tranny shop
should be able to help you jon
P.S. - I still don't know what's wrong with crusing at 4000 rpms (or atleast
it sounds good out the exhaust). Actually 4000 rpms really wouldn't be that
bad on a motor with 600 hp. You figure redline could be at 8000-10000 rpms.
