Its been brought up a couple of times in the past, and if I recall
correctly, when Chrysler was asked about the possibility of a plant tour,
they were less than receptive. However, its been a while since then
and I think that was prior to the "merger" too. Plus, we've grown
a bit too. :-) Personally, I would love to do something like that.
I'm all the way over in NY, but I'd drive to Michigan for a tour of the
Dak plant and a DML meet! What would be neat is if we could tour the
plant in the AM, have some lunch, then do the Walter P Chrysler museum
in the PM (or vice-versa) on some Saturday. The Dakota plant is in Warren.
I'm not exactly sure who you would contact about such a thing. It
would sure be cool if it could happen though! I guess its just a
matter of finding the right person with the right attitude. :-)
