Ok, official answer on the clicking noise. It's the Evaporative Purge
Pump. Basically what it does is (emmissions) pull the gas fumes out of
the gas tank and into the intake to burn them off. It's normal for it to
make that clicking noise. Now that I think about it my last car had the
same pump and made the same noise. I just never knew what it was.
