Yup...you're right. Just took a look at the engine at Dodge's site. Plugs
sit right next to the exhaust ports.
Here's a good reason for the "Rice" sound...check out the firing order:
1, 10-9, 4-3, 6-5, 8-7, 2 (unequal firing 90-degree and 54-degree
intervals)
