I've had Dynomax mufflers before, and still do. The Dynomax mufflers are
kind of like stealth mufflers. They sound a lot like stock mufflers at
idle - nice and quiet, but once you step on the gas they put out some nice
noise. Real nice tone to it. I wouldn't get them if you want max noise.
I could never understand why people want noisy exhaust. But then again, I
remember driving my old Ferd down the road after installing headers (no
exhaust pipes or muffler, just straight collector dump), rumpety rumpety
idling with no mufflers - truck shaking with the idle. I pulled up to a
stop light next to a car. I looked over and saw this little girl with her
hands pressed tightly against her ears with this funny look on her
face. That was cute. Ahh yes, then the shutdown and coasting every time I
saw a cop. Ahh those were the days - all two years ago even.
