When I had the 94, 4x4, I replaced the Pitman Arm, It was still loose
compared to the 97, which is Rack and Pinion, but.. it did help it a bit....
I'd have a friend in the truck turning the wheel, while you look at the
pitman arm for any "play" you should be able to see if it has any play if he
moves the wheel back and forth about 1/8 of a turn....
