Speaking from expirence you can do a 3/5 drop without a c-notch. I'm
currently doing this now. The suspension will not bottom out unless you
have a load on it. I've bottomed it out with 99 Road King in the back but
with no load no problem. I wouldn't go any further than 3/5 without a
c-notch. For everyday drivin 3/5 is just right. If you check out the air
bag scene let me know I've been thinking about that too. Go to my web site
