Why yes, yes I have. :-)

I don't have a mess of HP, only 235hp and 293lb-ft at the rear wheels,
and my 60' times aren't spectacular; usually 2.1 with a best of around
2.08 on Firehawk SS-10 street tires but I ate up my rearend good. The
dealer implied that it looked more like sawdust than gears. Actually,
when I broke it I probably had less hp and torque than I listed above,
as that was prior to the MPI. Plus, I don't think I really thrash on
my truck; not like some people I've seen or heard of. I do have a
stick though; I guess they're a bit harder on rearends than an auto.

Actually, the MPEG of the run of my truck up in the videos section
of the DML home page is the run prior to the one where my rearend
ate itself. If you listen closely, you can actually hear it snap
and the tires bite for a moment as I take off. Despite the clanking
noise coming from the rearend whenever I turned and that loud snap
as I took off, like an idiot I staged for another run and that was
all she wrote.

Moral of the story: Don't race when your Dak is making funny
noises. :-) Also, I will be installing a bigger rearend when time
and money permit.
