well, I work for a financial corporation, and talked to my manager who use
to be a banker. What he tells me is if/when the bank finds out that I owe
them money, and I refuse to make payments, they can file a contingency
against me and have a lien put on the truck, even though I have a title.
I'm sure tho, if I got a good lawyer, I could get out of it, but would
probably cost me just as much..hehe.. besides, I don't want to screw the
finance company... pretty much, my thinking is this. I'll do what I can to
contact them. In the meantime, I'm just gonna put the money in the bank and
let it accrue interest. Once they come to me for the money, I'll have it.
Just tell them to waive any late fees/interest, etc (their stupid fault
anyway), and I'll get the payments caught up in 1 check.. and I'll have the
interest off of what it's been growing in the bank.
