>>How much are the summit shackles? I have 3" blocks
right now and I get a slight vibration from
them....would the shackles be better? Summit has 2"
and 3" blocks that are specially made for the
Dakota...anybody know anything about those?<<

the vibration you are epxeriencing is caused by the pinion angle being
out.. you NEED TO FIX IT!!! it'll trash your U joints quick! (been there,
done that). Doesn't matter how you drop it, anything more than a 1" drop
will change your pinion angle and you have to correct it. There are shims
available that will take care of it.
I recommend any method of lowering that is NOT blocks or anything AIM
sells. Shackles work better and don't effect ride quality
