Dude - you must be smoking something. First off - you cant spin the cap. The
distributor on the other hand will spin if the hold down mechanism is loosened.
And I'll say it again - the timing is NOT controlled by moving the distributor.
I think you are trying to say the same thing but you somehow think that moving
the dist will change it for a few seconds or something - then the computer
magically "resets" it. Again, drugs will cause such nonsense. And lastly, if
you even owned your truck, I would gladly take it 8-) No detrimental effects -
yeah right.

What country are you from - maybe it is just a language barrier - if so, I
apologize.
