I have nothing but good to say about Sony ES... had a Panasonic before the
sony, and i like the sony much better... I have also seen that Pioneer has a
good headunit.. depends on what ya lookin fer.. the Sony has outstanding
quality, and the pioneer has good looks..

i got $1300 in my stereo
Sony ES CDX-6850, Sony Xplod Sepeates in the door with a PPI 2120 pushing
them, and 2 Sony Xplod 10's in a MTX Thunderform with a PPI 275 pushing
them...
I've had many compliments on it.. check them out if ya have a chance =)
