2000 SLT CC, 4x4, 4.7 V8, Patriot Blue, factory 31's
LIKES--power of the V8 and it's quickness, GREAT body style and overall
looks, exactly the right exterior size--not too big not too small, obviously
the 4x4 system or i wouldn't have ordered a 4x4, very good factory sound
system (really like the steering wheel controls), handles very well for a
heavy truck, the pull-out cupholders, the heavier-duty 6-bolt rims, the
storage under the back seats.
DISLIKES--dead 3-day old tranny, poor quality of the upholestery panels,
fuel economy is bad but bearable, factory tires aren't very good, the oil
filler tube sludge problem, the cheap plastic skid plates, the back seat
needs just a wee bit more leg room.
Without the tranny problem, the rest of my dislikes could be easily
overlooked.
