Well, I got my '66 4-4-2 400 big block speedo buried at 120
(assume140), the speedo came all the way around.
My '66 F-85 330 small block 4-door got a little past 120 (like
130ish) then the nose started to lift, which was enough for me to let
up.
Got me and my dad's (btw, he's a retired CHP Officer, lol!!) '66
Toronado to hit 130, the speedo goes to 130 on it. And it was smooth and
solid at that speed!! Yeah, I am power crazy. Can't wait to get my
project F-85 going to see how fast she will be!!
