Basically, it's either lengthening or shortening the connecting rods to
alter the engine size and move the powerband to a more useable range.
(Shorter Stroke = Higher RPM's and Longer Stroke = More Bottom End Torque)

Subject: Re: DML: Stroking a 4.7?
My friend has a 95 Lightning and he says he wants to stroke the engine.
what is stroking the engine
can I do it to my 4.7 5spd 3.92 2wd ?
about how much does it cost ? is it worth it ?
If what I heard earlier about someone getting a 14.30 with only exhaust I
dont think I will have to worry, because the best 1/4 mile time my friend
and
his Lightning got was a 14.9
But that 14.30 is kinda hard to believe, but I hope it is true, I have the
same truck plus alittle extra
