Now this sounds familiar and was laughed at for a double snorkel connected
to the front. With a dual ram air hat, running double aluminum tubing (no
kinks) with a K&N cone filter enclosed. Forcing the front cold air down the
tubes into the air hat.
The last article with a double snorkel RAM AIR was the Car & Driver Ford
Racing Mustang (shown on the cover).
Yes! I would used a small mesh screen to keep out bugs. Example is a house
window screen material.

I have had mine off since the first week a bought it, over 4 years ago. Only
thing is you gotta clean it out once in awhile because it gets filled with
bugs...etc.
