Nope. you don't have to remove the bottem air dam piece. BUT!!! there are 3
bars that go down the stock front air dam and I decided to shave those off in
mine. the stillen front spoiler fits very snug and tight after you "snap" it
on. I think the 3m tape goes where the upper bumper meets the spoiler/cover
to help it stay there.

Mounting is also easy.. Just put the right or left side in, then slide the
other side in. You might have to bend the cover back a little for a lip that
goes around the sides of the bumper near the fender.

PS. Have a friend there to help.

<< I just had the time to test fit my Stillen bumper cover. I was
wondering
if I need to remove the lower valance before the Stillen goes on. It looks
like the stock valance does need to come off, but I just want to be sure. If
it does need to come off, what is that going to do to my factory fog lights?
Also, Stillen/Avalon neglected to send me the 3M tape to hold the bumper
cover on. I know where I can find some, but want to know if this is the way
to go or not. Does anyone have other ideas on how to mount the bumper
 cover?
Thanks in advance for your help. >>
