Yup,I have a co-worker who lives on E-Bay and he just described that same
thing to me. I guess I'll be the wiser next time ;-)

Welcome to eBay. The whole auction thing is a crock if its time
limited like
on eBay. If you want to win, don't bid until the last possible
minute. I
usually try and wait until 3-4 minutes before the auction ends, that
way if
someone else is doing the same then you have time for one more bid.
Good luck.

Subject: DML: TB on E-Bay/ Anyone else have one?
I failed in my quest to obtain the TB that was on E-Bay. After
five days
on no one challenging my bid, someone came in with less than an hour
to go
and outbid me. Such is life I guess. Needless to say I would still
be
interested in purchasing a used TB. I would like to try and modify
one
myself before plunking down 250.00 on a new one. Which when I do buy
a new
one will be from Tony at Quick D. He offered to help me with the
mods on
the TB I was going to buy, even though I wasn't purchasing it
through him.
Does anyone have one they are willing to let go?
Or should I try and hit a junk yard up for one.
Feel free to contact me personally, or through the DML
