I did remember that part, but thanks for the reminder. Now the question is,
if we get into the rear end and see metal shavings, would it be cheaper to
buy the $580 warranty with a $50 deductable, or would a shop charge less
than $630 to fix a rearend.
Someone give me worst case senerio: how much to fix a rearend if it's
pretty much ruined? If it needs to be replaced, I'm sure he won't go back
with a limited slip.
I know I had to put a rearend in my 87 dak and it cost me right around $1000
because I needed the WHOLE rearend. (got a rebuilt one from Jasper.)
