A 6-71 could be possibly modified to fit a V6...but yes, a 8-71 and 10-71
(B&M or BDS remanufactered referenced here) is too big for an ordinary
(almost stock) vehicle. Then again, there are also Turbo's that are too big
for a V6 as well (or should I say, too much for a V6).

the detroit diesel blower of what you speak are also
fed by turbo's that is 1-4 turbo's are blowing into
the intake of the blower and i belive that they would
be to big and heavy for a v6 way to big and way to
heavy
