According to the gas pump, the light comes on with 5 gallons left (22
gal. tank, '99).

We had some discussion about running the tank almost dry a while back.
Don't do it. The gas cools and lubricates the pump, but when you get
low on fuel, the pump is no longer submerged. You'll be sending the
fuel pump to an early grave.
