Sounds like it's time for you and the wife to take a vacation, Ted! ;-)

Kyle, the lithium grease sounds like a good plan... I was just gonna spray a
touch of WD-40 (the cure all! :-) in the rails on mine but fortunately thought
better of it. While it's convenient and a great lubricant it attracts gunk
like there is no tomorrow. Plan B was to try some dry graphite powder but that
would only work on the bottom rail. Haven't decided yet, but I'll probably try
some graphite first and see if it does anything.
