Yeah, it was a rerun (I haven't seen the next installment of that series
yet). The first installment, where they put the 6" suspension lift on,
was pretty cool. Those bumpers sound like they're pretty pricey, but
getting a custom-built 300 pound beast of a bumper for regular driving
would be overkill. I don't think a "daily-driver" Dakota needs the
front-back weight distribution skewed even more than trucks normally
are. Unless maybe you're a forest ranger.

Shadetree Mechanic right before Trucks was more interesting to me
though, today. They put a Class IV hitch under and a goosneck trailer
ball in the bed of a Ram 3500. Gotta get me a hitch sometime in the
next couple months, I think.
