For the ends you can use an appropriately sized copper tubing that you
flatten
one end and drill a hole for the nut and bolt. Then crimp the other end or
pour melted lead into it.

household wire uses heavy gauge strands the more they flex the less strength
it has
automotive grade wire has allot of very thin strands that flex without
breaking and are usually made with no oxygen while forming to cut down on
corrosion
