yea Bob, 3880, that is correct, I was just as surprised to see that!! If ya
want I'll fax you or anyone the Dyno sheet, just hollar!

Went back to the strip on Sunday and ran the 1/8 mile, I lowered the ET even
more that day with a best 1/8 mile time of 9.19 sec. other runs were(9.27,
9.29, 9.22, 9.23) That is about 2 tenths quicker than the truck has gone in
the 1/8 mile!
(Did have a tail wind also (don't know how much that helped??)

THANKS!!

Matt

Matt

Just to confirm, is max. power at 3880 rpm? Rpm seems low, esp.
for an overhead cam. My 5.2L (not stock but not wildly modded)
peak hp occurs at about 4600 rpm. Very surprising but, with
it beginning around 3200 rpm and remaining pretty flat 'til about
3900 rpm (using your table format info.), it (and its weight,
5-spd, 3.92) might explain your excellent times in stock form. TIA.
