Well, the only reason the hp fell off was because dummy me let out at 5000,
it was still pulling hard, after I saw that, I started shifting at 5300
instead of 5000 and thats when I ran my best time of 14.74. But I will
agree, top end does hurt the truck at some point cause my 1/8 mile time of
9.19 should be about 14.5 or better but it falls off at the end of the
track, I think a good exhaust will really help this engine out. That is my
next step, a good exhaust, then back to the dyno (and I won't let out this
time)!! Chris, go for the exhaust work, I run consistent 90-92 mph.

Hey, Chris.

If you look at Matt's dyno results in table format, it seems that there's
an early drop in hp and torque. Kinda confirms your feeling of 'no top
end'.

Never really looked into overhead cam setups but if they work on the same
principles the traditional cam motors, the only way that I can think
of is cam replacement.

             Intake ---> engine ---> Exhaust
take in more air mods ---> pass more air through mods ----> exit more
air mods
(ported tb, intake manifold) (cam replacement) (headers,
exhaust)

Aftermarket choices currently limited or nil due to newness of the 4.7L.
