No, you don't have to remove the lower control arm. Just make sure that you
lift the truck up high enough to get the press in to install the new ball
joint. When your ready to go for you alignment I'll give you some deadly
specs to make it handle the viper!

Yes, the buckets were from a Dakota, a 1993 at that. The console is from the
same vehicle but I am going to order a Tuffy Series II Steel Console, like
the one shown here:

Yes, I will only buy the parts which come with a lifetime warranty, like
Moog and Perfect Circle(Dana). I justed replaced the idler arm and pitman
arm and used Dana parts, they fit great and werent that expensive. Do I have
to REMOVE the lower control arm, like it states in the manual?....... I
really hope not!!!!
