Sure they have something to put in front of the radiator.. it's called a
condenser :)
I'm in the same situation as you... I don't have A/C, so my radiator is
exposed directly to the elements...
Although... mine seems to be fine besides a few bugs...
What I don't like.. is the fact that the radiator isn't painted black like
the condenser is... so I have a damn bare aluminum raditor peeking through
from behind my big grille.
