Well when someone says something like that, I get curious. Actually, it is
possible. Ever seen a Type one, two, and three fully synchronized three
speed transmission? Type one is an American Motors tranny used from '73 to
'76 (used in Matador, Gremlin, and Pacer) Type two is a Ponitac tranny
(Ventura II, Firebird, and Le Mans) used from '73-'74, and Type three is
from a Dodge Aspen and Plymouth Volare used from '76 to '77.
