I had the perma cool adjustable switch on my dak and it too was a POS. It
never turned the fan on until the truck itself was off, and it was wired in
correctly. I overheated several times because of this switch. Finally I
got fed up and took my electric fan off and went back to the stocker. Stay
away from perma cool's switches.
