Richmond! Are you building these things for go-karts or what? (Bernd's
go-kart aside) ;-) If I'm gonna spend 3 large on a transmission, I expect
it to be able to handle some real power!

    The Viper 6 speed is a Borg Warner T-56 (now Tremec T-56). It is also
used in 'Vettes and Z-28s (and I *think* some versions of the Mustang; I
believe the new Cobra R has one), so its not quite as rare as you might
think. Its still pricey though, $3000-3500 last time I checked. Someone
might get lucky and score one from a totalled Z-28 though.
