I usually perforn "risky" experiments with my own
possesions, as failures are frequent...
If they are OBD-II (97 & later?) and you really don't mind parting
with one, I will try to get a good read without wiping the currrent flash.
There is a high probability or erasure here .. Just want to be clear..
