Kuk

I kind of lost you in that explanation anyway I always lock out the OD (poosh
de button) Mainly due to the OD being the weak point in the A518's (or as
I've been told) so don't want to mess with it. However If I have any clue as
to what you are saying, when running along at say 60 with OD locked out then
hit de button to engage it, it will first unlock the lockup TC (and will rev
higher) then engage the OD and lock the TC back up . This should have no
effect on the stall. The stall is the point at which if you lock up the
brakes and in drive you step down on the gas until the RPM's will go no
higher without turning the wheels (per FSM). And you do not want to do this
for over a couple of seconds or damage could result. I also now manually
shift it and shift about 5800 - 6000 due to the cam, MPI and other mods that
raised the power band or stretched it but I get the best runs both time and
speed using this method. I do have a shift kit, should that make any
difference.
