Need some GM help

Ok...I know it isn't quite Dakota material...but I drive a Dakota so that
should be enough. ;)

My neighbor has a late '94 GMC truck (305CID) and we're trying to check the
base timing. There's a timing disconnect wire on all of these but we can't
find it on this model. Anyone know where it might be? (I'm used to seeing
the green wire but can't find it and it's not on the distributor.)
