I have a 2000 dakota and am concerned about my nv-3500 5-spd.I have 4
friends here in the town where I live who have or have had V8/5-spd daks and
all of them have had at least one transmission go out under warranty, and
now whenever I see them, they question me about my mileage on the truck and
tell me it won't be long until the first one goes out.Has anybody else had
any problems out of this tranny? what's the most amount of miles anybody has
on an original, non- rebuilt unit in their truck? Is it true that the 4x4's
have a 4.02 first gear, while the 2wd's have like a 3.20 or somewhere in
there? What about the clutches? I've heard that they will last as long or
longer than the transmission,if driven right. Will 2000 reg.cab 2wd
