Well I got home about 9ish and pulled the Dak up into the garage. It took
about 30 minutes total I would guess to take the stock TB out, swap the
sensors over, install the new AIS sensor, and remount the QuickD TB. I was
worried that I would not be able to use the S-Bolt Tony sent me with the
parts, because I didnt think it was long enough, but it was. I reset the
puter and just took it out for a quick spin on the highway, about 15 miles.
There is 'some more omph' than before, and maybe not as much as I expected
there to be, but maybe I think that my Dak's puter can take 2-3 to fully
recalibrate for the added air flow. Hopefully over time, I will see some
better results. I mean dont get me wrong, I really love the high quality
machine work and the QuickD sticker is cool and all, just though I would see
more use-able power. I am going to get the Flowmaster Delta Flow muffler
installed sometime tomorrow. I am just also thinking with all the mods I
have done, maybe the stock muffler is being overloaded and cant flow enough
to handle the mods and hopefully the Flowmaster 'might' help top off the
mods and help me feel the power difference in all the mods I have done. Oh
well.........
