I had spoken with JET about this quite a few months ago and even posted a
blurb about it to the DML. It looks like it may work but a good friend (a
Tech at a Dodge dealer in SJ, CA) pointed out that the computer will try to
set the timing back to where it wants to. I had asked the JET techs about
this (at that time) and they didn't want to comment on that.
If you get one, let me know how it runs. (Still interested in it.)

Subject: DML: prog. ignition
Aight, here's the deal... I started working @ a parts store, brought home a
hipo catalog tonight. I found a programmable ignition box, "Allows user to
custom tune an ignition curve for the specific application via a PC
interface and software" it's made by JET. It claims to work on any vehicle
with a coil, and allows 1/2ş turning from 1200rpm to 7200rpm, advance or
retard up to 20ş..
anyone heard of/used this? I'm gonna call for a quote tommorrow, may have
to get me a new toy to play with for dynoday....
