Maybe that is why Ma Mopar decided against rebuilding the old push rod motor
5.2 and gave the 4.7 room for more ump. Seeing the different mods applied
to the 4.7 rig versus the push rods, I would go with the 4.7. Room for more
power is there. All it needs now is the suspension, super-charger, Recaro
seats (tired of sliding) and a bed cover.

The MPH just don't count when the time is the factor on winning in the 1/4
mile. After seeing his spread sheet and see what is coming down the road
from this motor in the next couple of years, it can easily be built for
327HP (see the next Charger). Then, if I wanted speed, I choose the grand
daddy of them all - the VIPER. His numbers don't lie.

I know that Mopar is embarrassed over the fact that the R/T should of ran
faster then any of the Dakota truck. But wait! What is this? A 4.7 now
running faster than the current 2K R/T. Mopar went wrong on the 2K R/T
vehicle and needs to be corrected on the next round of designs. R/T means
to me speed, speed, and more speed. All from those extra ponies under that
air cowed hood. I know, I am dreaming....

Hey, Matt's on the right team here, at least he has a stick! The 4.7 trucks

are pretty quick, just slightly slower that a 5.2...
