I also average 15 to 16 mpg around town, driving pretty hard. Lowest I ever
got was 14 mpg, and that was after a few trips to the dragstrip. Best
mileage I ever got was 21 mpg on the interstate running 70-75 mph. I have
12,000 miles now.
>From time to time I will experience a little rough idle, but nothing severe
enough to stall the engine. I also get the light at the 1/8 tank level, I
usually drive until the needle is all the way over on "E" and still can't
get 20 Gal. in there!!
